Working solely with painting knives and oil paint…no medium. I quite enjoyed this…very messy and I look as messy as the painting, but I really had fun in doing this little painting! I’m getting there…

lovely painting Ronelle
Oh Ronelle this one is truly lovely. I love all the texture and the highlights are perfect. Wonderful!!!
I love receiving your updates, clear over here in southern states America!! Love that instant gratification of the internet. These onions are terrific! You have such depth and dimension. The top onion truly looks like it is on top, not just part of a group. You used your color perfectly! Now lets see what else goes with red onions? in America…hamburgers. Smile.
I’m also a fan of red onions – the different reds – warm, cool – the purples – the colours in the highlights. This is a lovely direct work and your pleasure at doing it comes across.
This is great – love the energy.
Lots of energy and the top onion leaps off the canvas!
Very nice, Ronelle! You have such an expressive style going here.
Gorgeous! I love it.
Wonderful, Ronelle! Love the energy in this.
Nice job on the recent oils!!! Looks good enough to eat. I am presently painting in Venice. Come see what I have posted so far.
On dirait qu’ils sortent de la toile!! Ils ont l’air tellement frais! bravo!
Love it! Great style, scrumptious colors.
Wow – those red onions bounce off the page at me and demand to be chopped up right now! 🙂
