Welcome! Hope you see some artwork that pleases you, if not now, maybe next time…

Two chickens and a dog in oil.

We have had rainy weather lately, not to mentions storms causing trees to fall and roofs to fly.I am eager to get outdoors to paint plein air, bu in the meantime I honed my skills a bit with animal painting. My chickens, Omelette and Rembrandt and our German shepherd Lindiwe.

  1. There’s something deeply poetic about calling a chicken omelette!

Your paintings are full of Coin Perdu and always make me so happy that you are finally living there, Ronelle. So colorful, the feathers. And the dog has that waiting, watchful look. But they always watch us and watch out for us, don’t they? So attentive. Beautiful animal.

The dog painting is stunning! I love the big fat paint brush marks.
