The aubergines in my potager aren’t ready for picking yet, so I had to buy at the market. The first image is my latest painting, and the last three I did some years ago. I don’t think much has changed in my style when comparing these sketches.

I did this sketch a few weeks back, at the height of my struggle to do art period, but I am glad I completed it since it got me started on my way back to sketching.

We have two Comtois cart horses. They are magnificent animals with their honey coloured skin and long flowing blonde manes.
Agapanthus is one of my favourite flowers, it reminds me of my mother. I have both blue and white in the garden but the blue is by far my favourite. I started off painting these flowers, by just playing with colour mixtures and then moving onto sketching the flowers on my desk.

I am busy doing portraits, a subject I haven’t done for quite some time. And I am having fun! They are all done in pen an watercolour.
