Bowl with grapes still life.

It is time for the grapes of autumn, my favorite being Muscat. the problem with grapes is that you don’t keep track of how much you eat and before you know it you have devoured bunch after bunch of sugar! That is exactly what happened to me when painting this still life. This little painting is 15×20 cm and is available on my website, Ronell van Wyk

Cup and two peaches still life.

The peaches are nearing the end of the season so I have to get in as much painting… and eating as possible. It is not a bad thing though. Autumn has its own wonderul fruit and vegetables to paint…and eat.

Watermelon in watercolour.

We are eating so much watermelon that I am getting to a point where I can’t any more..

Aubergines in watercolour.

The aubergines in my potager aren’t ready for picking yet, so I had to buy at the market. The first image is my latest painting, and the last three I did some years ago. I don’t think much has changed in my style when comparing these sketches.
